MESSY COWS FEET ... REVISITING A *DOUBLE* ULCER!

Hi - i have a question., i''ve seen you use your knife to trim what looks like a arch in both horns. i understand trimming between horns is to keep the two horns from rubbing/chipping etc. but the curved trim whats it for? i'm enjoying watching & learning a bit. thanks from Central California.
Hello Graeme and Craig, Okay, obviously it's a different crush, what's different and special? You guessed it, I'm somewhat behind!🙄 Why don't ya come up w/a "Hoof trimmers wedding vow"? Do you bull, take this cow - well, I already know why it's never been done, never mind!👂🤔🤣 Ya know that ya could make a tee w/an inverted milk bag, w/little faces 'n arms waiving (two L, two R), with the words "I'm the udder one"!!🤣 Then give it to Tom P. (Sounds like it should be Tom M., not "P"!)!🤣 A little poem for ya Titled - "What the Lumberjack and a Hooftrimmer has in common":🤔 A Lumberjack picks at the wood, a Hooftrimmer picks at the toes, but the other thing they both do so well is pick at their nose"!!!👂🤯 Look, at least I tried - okay I'm not a poet and know it!😖 "Viv la fini"! I think that's how it goes. Keep up the good work guys, be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 👍👍🙏🏻😇👊
Not code brown..... Try brown heat
3:49/7:26 look at the stuff coming down hahahahahha
Good job!
In Canada 🇨🇦 we call that dusting of snow a skiff!
Stop sending me good vids
What is that blue stuff you sprayed and what he does please
“Code Brown 💩” 😮😜🤣.... Cheers to “this cow”. Thanx for da vid my guy 👊🏽👍🏽
Cows are Beautiful 🤩
Love your accent- Sweet how you rub the cattle 🐄❤️👍🏻
I hurt my big toe, and having binged your videos lately I made myself a "block" by cutting a space for my toe in an old flip-flop, elevating it off the floor 😂 what do you know, it's working!
"Code Brown!!!" We should be called the Herd instead of the Army, just saying...Cheers!
I'm having trouble with my feet too. Can you help me out?
What's the name of the intro song?
Great work mate!
Никогда-бы не думал ,что в Западных странах коровы стоят в такой жиже из фикалий.Оттуда и болезни у копыт у этих животных...
Join the "Army" nice hook Graeme.
Glad she’s so much better! Congrats on the new sponsor! That’s so awesome! 😎 Love ya GP, keep rockin!
Just a question. Do you know a veterinarian who might be able to let you upload X-ray, or vet’s treatment that enhances your abilities or lessons?
What a great guy with an awesome family. So fun to watch him cure animals and his business grow!
That spray is the colour of my works van 😎👍🏻
I thought us nurses were the only ones who said code brown! 😂
💞
What happens if you had issue on horns on 1 foot. Can u put a block goin across both?
@Joe Pollaro if I understand correctly, the third link should help you. If however, the damage is too extensive, to allow even a modified block to be applied, your only option is to rest them in a deep bedded straw yard.
I meant more from left side horn to right side. Let's say both tips were injured buy heel side is fine

He has "code brown" on his gloves and holding his cup. Gross!
Your love for these cattle is a beautiful thing.
love the vids man .happy i found this chanel keep up the good work :)
I'm surprised you haven't hooked up a small water tank on the trailer and a very small water pump to give some pressure. I've seen you don't usually clean off the hoofs but when you do it'd be nice to not have to be squeezing on the spray bottle.
Lol 😂 “ Code Brown” 😂 lol
do ulcers and other injuries happen because the cows stand on concrete, steel, wood, etc., instead of grass?
@alistair clement thank you for the reply and info.
It depends on the specific problem, I've seen more ulcers in grazing herds than I have in housed ones, also problems such as stones are common in grazing herds but not in housed ones, however, what really makes the difference is routine trimming at the correct times.
Im always so worried that one of those cows are going to do the splits, so to speak, walking on that slippery floor. Better be careful Graeme that you dont slip, your burned hand accident was more than enough!🤍🐄🖤
Old girl seems much more comfortable now. Her traction control system went a bit wonky for a few seconds, poor girl.
Is it me or is that cows hoof blue, jacket blue, gloves blue that's awesome!
I really wish you would link the original video in these follow ups. I have a hard time trying to find which video is the original. I love seeing the long term healing.
Re: code brown: I’m a nurse, and years ago in the hospital I worked at, someone uncovered a patient who’d messed the bed, called the PX operator and called for a CODE BROWN which WAS announced. Everyone came running, crash cart, resp. therapy, MD from ER, nurses, orderlies- all to save this coded pt. The person who initiated it was promptly fired. 😂
THat poor cow...doesn't seem like she will ever be ok again ...such damage to the poor thing...
So happy she is improving! I’d be on the ground rolling in cow poop all the time! It’s everywhere and looks slick as heck!
👏👏
Thanks for letting me know that your store will be opening soon! I’m gonna try to be the first to buy things! As l have said before, the best channel on KGshows!
How much hoof maintenance to beef cattle who live on grass need- in general?
I love these videos because I can’t smell them
She looks so much better! Do you ever get a cow, where both sides of the foot are bad?
kgshows.info/code/1HCrg4KyiZivr7I/video.html
She looks much more comfortable
Awesome, so happy you got a great sponsor congratulations
Love the new intro! Don't forget your fans with your new found fame mr sponsorship! Haha
Fell right in a rabbit hole all started from last year
Do u ever see Gracie anymore? Wondering how she was getting along! Btw: As a nurse...I know the trials of the "Code Brown!" Lol
Also wondering about Gracie myself. That was quite the journey we all went through watching her progress, and I think about her every time I watch one of Graeme's videos.
Thank you for always going back and show us the hard work that you do and the good healing process you make a difference
Why don’t you have shirts or coffee mugs for sale? You need to do some for us to buy! Love you channel!
I'm relaunching the whole store within the next week or so - the logistics were hard to get right - but we have then sorted and I've felt terrible that merch hasn't been available..... so it's now fixed and will be released next week! 🙂
You are bringing me back to my childhood on my grandparents dairy farm in Victoria Australia. Thank you. I may never get to interact with dairy cows again (my uncle sold the farm 10 year ago) but you bring back such good memories. :),
Thank for all that you do for the animals !!! God Bless.
So I weld and have no desire to clean cows feet, but I wanna know what grinder blades do you use? Love your video! Cheers.
I just have a question. I grew up on a farm and we kept the barn floor clean as best we could though it was dirt. The barns or buildings you work in the floors are concrete or brick and wet from manure is that an issue for the cows to walk on
It's not at all silly that you're invested in her health. I'm invested and I'm not being paid to help look after her! You care, and that's why most of us watch you. Stay safe xx
What is the green spay? Can I know the name of the spay?
Were just as invested to see them heal🥰
Why do the cows have those two things on the back of the foot ? Too much brown stuff for me Its a tough job but somebody's got to do it.
Good show .
Definitely walking better.
Aw, I smiled all silly when you put your arm around Craig and were so elated that he made you coffee! What a team!
There's just something so satisfying to watch about these films. Its become part of my chill down routine...
Bloody awesome lads
Any updates on gracy?
Cow with new shoes...snowy day...whoopsee! 🎶"Slip slidin' away. Slip slidin' away!"🎶👩🎤
What causes their poop become so liquidized? I don’t see that in the cows in my area.
Thank goodness for the daily fix of the hoof GP to make all in the world right ....
Well, that is educational , your sponosor answered a few questions ... good that I checked the webiste
I do believe update videos are my faves. Thanks for the effort!
She is going more soundly thanks to your skill Graeme. Good job n you two are looking good. Stay safe n well xxx hugs to the family's xxx
This cow is walking so much better this time. Great job.
You should put your logo on top of the crush, so it’s easily seen in all those arial shots you take with the drone.
I love that the cow hooves are much better.:-):-D:-D
Maybe a silly question but is cows poo always waterie???
how's the hand ?
I am not sure what to do with all this newly acquired knowledge.. I know plenty of cows, but I am pretty sure I'd end up in prison if I try to trim their hoofs, am so conflicted x
It’s so nice to see the care and attention you give to the cows it’s really a lift when you see the progress they make on healing.
nice one great job
Hi,does anyone know what brand of double edge knives he uses?
@The Hoof GP ok thank you very much
They're by Aescalup- and I love them!!!
this place is filthy, dirty everywhere
Over a year after laughing and questioning what the heck the YT Algorithm was thinking, i am still here watching nearly every video.... kudos Graeme
Another cow saved by the HOOFGP. Happy days! How's the hand? We need need an update on your wellbeing too. Excellent to see Craigy boy back in the saddle. Your next project should be a hoof trimming video game!
You should link the video with the recovering cow's original trim in the description. Or any other previous trims. Just to make it easier to find it.
I do like your opening music, whoever thought it was a bit of a genius, really catchy.
I am super impressed. She seems to be walking well and getting along so much better. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job!
5:46 covid attack!
She walks so much better -- except for the slippery ground, that is.
That stepfather of yours must be quite the man.
Great job guys! No more pain!!!
Could you do another review on your crush as you have been using it for a while now
She looks like she is excited to be walking without pain
🌟🌟🌟🌟
What the name of music?
I'm just curious why do you blowtorch the foot and the block before applying the glue and sticking it on?
I loved the slips, me when I venture out in the snow...with a heel on😷😂 Another great video. Thanks.
:-) I have a double ulcer and it doesn't make me walk funny... :-)
👍👌🇨🇦❤
I was wondering if you got snow in there. I haven’t seen a lot in any of your videos and figured maybe because you are closer to the coast. I hope to some day visit Scotland, we have Scots in my background. 😁
U should have the blizzard we just had ice and 10 inches of snow so far and it’s still snowing bad, fun fun, plowed yesterday morning n put down lots of salt too, oh fun get to plow snow again, fun fun
Silly silly why would I joy the army at 64, lol
