Wow! You absolutely have a keen eye!
I don't think a single person watching would actually know you did anything wrong because sometimes it bleeds just by trimming around it, but wow what an integrity move to not make a lame (ha) excuse and just own up to a mistake
I don’t know why this is so interesting!
Sir please stop talking so much and do some work
God bless you brother
Do cows feel this?
Radical vegans "thier brutally killing the cows " the actual people have special people who care for them not all vegans are like this but they exist
😭
Poor cow
Great job these cases are really rewarding to do talking about my own experience 👍👏 But i still think your knives could have been sharper 😉😉 Keep up the good work
Then he went home and enjoyed a nice piece of steak. 🙂
Holy Cow
I swear. I start watching “just one” and before I know it I’ve watched for hours and it’s 2 AM. So wonderful and interesting and soothing all at the same time.
Stopppppp you're killing the poor coww😠😠😠😠🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡
Do yo need pain killer for these surgery?
I like how he admitted his mistake, you are the man!!!
am i the only one who doesnt like blood?... yeah just me... :c
👍👍👍👍
He must be completely numb to the smell of manure by now XD
So knowledgeable plus compassionate. Good man!!
Man would love to see some before and afters! You're amazing.
Awe you apologize. I would too, even if she couldn’t hear me. You care and it shows. Thank you.
I love all your videos but I love love the bloody puss ones best as a matter of fact that’s how I found you
The moldy alcohol jekely wreck because engineering extremely deliver abaft a whimsical mind. lying, pastoral carp
No idea what any of that means
Why didn't you put on a cover or a (I can't remember the name of the stuff you push it on to the foot area) and then cover it with the tape you put on your grinder? It seems like it would help the foot get better and not as big of a chance to get infected even worse.
Great spotting. What you really need on your trailer is a water tank and 12 volt pump. Clean the area beforehand for even better visibility. Cheers Ausgranny 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Do you ever use things like Styptic Powder for acute bleeding, or is it more important to promote blood flow due to bacterial abscesses? I wonder if the iodine can help to minimize bleeding as it dries out the site... hmmm Anyway, LOVE this channel! Thank you for being so compassionate
Poor thing
What music is playing in the background?
That little black dot, turned out to be a big problem. Wouldn't have expected that.
How long are you able to use Iodine on cows feet? When using Asa what is the length of time you can use it for? Have you ever had a cow have a reaction before? Again I am from southern Saskatchewan Canada I am an LPN, I work in long term care and I am on the wound care team. No I do not work on cows lol but I love your videos!! Wonderful education!
I watch almost all your videos I'm so glad that you do this job when I was a little girl I stayed on my uncle's farm and never saw this done. Great job 🙏🏻🙏🏻
You do such a service to alleviate suffering. This city girl had no idea cows hoofs could be so poorly. Good going dude.
Great vid!
The cow seems to not mind to nicks here and there in return for the pain relief.😊👍
I paused as soon as I seen a tiny black dot aka the "Black Dot of Death" ....now I'll keep watching and see if I'm right🤷♀️🤞
Oh I forgot to say please in my last comment. Cheers.
1:41 I havn't seen that gadget before. Next time you use it can you say why. I love this stuff but want to understand whats being done. Looked like it was done to put pressure on it to see how tender it is but I don't have a clue.
@alistair clement Oh I clearly missed it. He did a cracker job on that hoof. Cheers for the info.
He did say why he used it, and you're absolutely right about it's purpose.
Another reason I love watching you tend to these ladies feet (hooves). You take such good care of them.
That was unnecessary to take her hole hoof off u could have only shaved off the bad part and that was it and then place to block on the other hoof
They don't make a full recovery, if you don't remove ALL of the loose horn.
So what happened to the rock in her foot 🧐
The title made me crack up with how dramatic it is
Was that 3 ovens?
2 ovens and a microwave.
Hi love your videos I’m watching from st.John’s Newfoundland Canada just across the pond .I hope you look it up in your encyclopedia
Hey Graeme how's ur crispy hand doing?
This guy really loves animals and how much do I am learning about hoof trimmer.!...
how does this happen, with no visible injury
I'm here for the work being shown, not some crappy plinky plonky bloody music. Dump the music.
How about wipe off the shit and dirt first?
He did, with the grinder.
One small black dot, contained a massive ulcer. See the small things count guys! Hoof GP! 💜🙏🏾
The music is so loud that I cannot here you speak. I’d rather hear you than the music.
I would never have believed, I would subscribe to a channel about Cow hoof trimming. But I did because of Graeme. His style is so informative, caring and entertaining. And I love the music choices.
👍👌🇨🇦❤
Poor cow 😞
I honestly miss being a dairy farmer. I loved being by all the cows! I watch these videos and think of the good times milking and taking care of all the babies lol. My girlfriend also loves watching these videos. My question for you is the music. Where do we find the artists as my girlfriend loves the songs you use!
Graeme reassuring everyone the little bit of blood simply happens sometimes (likely so folks don't go unnecessarily rabid) Me: Man, y'all ain't seen nothing when it comes to hoof trimming if a nick like that puts you in panic mode.
or if any injury happens in these video people always scream abuse and say they live in such a bad living situation or they also yell abuse because their hooves are covered in shit
Keep it up. You have some of the best videos around. Can’t wait to see you again
As Aaron calls it... The black spot of death. Poor lady bovine....
Would it not be better to put all cows on rubber shoes when walking on concrete floors and save their feet so that no injuries occur. All regards Finn
Thank you for the video
Please bring back the "i fall into you" intro music.. it set the scene perfectly and i found myself humming it all day😁😁😗😗
didnt show proof :0
i would've loved to see the cow walking after the trim.
I wonder if you could use a styptic pencil when you nick the corium to stop the bleeding, kind of like when you cut yourself shaving or when you accidentally cut your dog's nails too short.
I can't help but watch this channel you are the BEST! hoof timmer EVER!!! you do such an Amazing job 💯 I learned so much from watching this channel I highly recommend for others who want to know about cows and hoof trimming to get on this channel and get some education this is so educational
wow, I could not even see that from the hoof. You have skill seeing just a small mark like that putting all the clues together to figure it out. I can imagine the delamination. That must be similar to our nail getting lifted off the nail bed.
i need a vr video of this. would that be possible? i saw vids like that on yt before. its like you could see his pov
That was a sneaky hoof!
I hope there's a follow up video!
I hope the cow is ok
Anyone who has had a blister under their fingernail knows what the relief feels like.
I will admit up front that I have no experience with dairy cattle but in the Texas Panhandle we do have a lot of cattle and grew up on a farm where we grew lots of meat cattle. Never have I seen the sort of problems with the hooves of cattle that you show on the cattle that you work on. Is it the breed of cattle you have there or the conditions they live in?
I am curious if the delaminated horn could theoretically be kept sterile would it allow for the corium to reattach to the sole, or would the cow be ultimately be hindered with a double sole as it grew out? Know nothing of cattle, just a question that popped into my head.
I followed you on tik tok
Graeme, how is your hand now?
Have you ever had a cow that you could not fix?Peter.
can cattle suffer blood poisoning if there is an infection in the hoof and not taken care of?
Hi! I'm a non-native English speaker and really bad with accents. The music is almost as loud as your voice and it makes it SUPER hard to understand/be able to concenrate. Never had this problem with other videos. Would it perhaps be possible to make the BG music a teeny tiny little bit quieter?
A cuppa & these videos is always a calming time
You’ve got some beautiful eyes my dude.
Much like a toenail or fingernail, just they're not weight bearing/
I think you removed more from this hoof than I have ever seen you do before. Thank goodness you have made a difference in this poor cow.
Oh my goodness! Thats looks so sore!!
और जब जानवर सही है जाये तो उसका भी वीडियो जरूर बनया करीये
आप ये तो बताया करो ये जानवरो को क्यों हो जाता है
आप ये तो बताया करो ये जानवरो को क्यों हो जाता है
I don’t want you to hurt the poor cow of course, but your mistake helped me finally understand what you mean when you say you have to remove all of the detached horn. I guess it’s similar to when I smashed my toe. I had to cut off all the detached nail, and of course it didn’t bleed when I did. When I tried to cut it as close to the skin as I could, I got it a little too close to the part that was still attached, and when I cut it , it began to bleed. Good to know!
Its difficult enough to hear you, then music plays while you talk. Sigh.
I thought I recognised this music. Fellow KGshowsr "I dream in soap" uses this regularly! It's a brilliant song! (And yes, she's a soap maker!) Great stuff though Graeme. Glad you've started her on the road to recovery. 🐄🐄🐮
A question and not sure if it was explained in a previous video or not but why is the hoof and block heated prior to being glued on? Understand the reason for the block or blocks if needed but not the heating of them.
@alistair clement Thanks for the response
It's to remove any moisture and give the blocks the best possible chance of sticking.
There's no way those aren't called "big pinchies".
Awesome job!!!!
Yea, I've had an abscess before, it hurt like crazy and was no where near my foot.
thanks for caring about the cows , great information
For a second there I thought it was wearing a horseshoe. I'm glad you getting all functioned back in your hand ❤️
Cows have feet?
@alistair clement: I will go further than that and say most people know more than I do. What’s troubling is that you apparently are unable to admit you were wrong about this. Certainly you have already typed the question into the search bar of your phone and discovered your error, yet you continue to argue about an arbitrary fact. I also learned in elementary school the difference between fact and opinion, seems you didn’t pay much attention in school, which brings us back to my original advice....read books. Gotta go now, time to feed my four horses.
@BeagleBrains 1 Why can't you just accept that someone might know a little more than you on a subject you've never had anything to do with?
@alistair clement: Read more books would be my advice to you. And yes, you are 100% wrong.
@BeagleBrains 1 I am not saying foot is 100% correct, I'm just saying it's not 100% wrong either. No, I don't think vets use foot to simplify it for, vets generally aren't patronizing to farmers and herdsman, because they don't want to be losing work, I can choose from 3 large animal practices, so 1 vet treats me like I'm stupid, I'm likely to change vets.
@alistair clement: I’m not criticizing anyone. Do you think it’s possible that vets occasionally use the term foot instead of hoof just to simplify a conversation with people like yourself, who don’t know there’s a difference? After all, look what you’re turning it into. Imagine if a vet had to go through this every time he had a discussion with a client. BTW, this isn’t secret information, you have the power to discover the difference right there in your hands. It’s also ok not to know something, there are a lot of things I don’t know, this just isn’t one of them. Remember, if you think you know everything, then you’re finished learning.
That tool I think I have one got it from grand father in law. I thought it was for hog nose ring compressor used in holding furniture fabric to the frame. Honey call ikea cancel the couch we are getting a cow now.
I like that you acknowledge when you make a mistake, no matter how small it may be.
I'd like to know if those cows understand that you are doing this for their health. I remember 812 is she still alive?
